No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Krispies

As the holidays quickly approach, many of us can’t help but be tempted by the enormous amounts of sweet treats that fill parties, family dinners, and our favorite specialty stores.  Of course a little treat here and there is normal, heck…it’s natural, and if you’ve been working hard you deserve it  But keeping your eyes set on your fitness goals and clean eating will ensure a successful weight management during the holiday season and will make your transition into the new year a breeze.  So put down that third chocolate peanut butter cookie and whip out your mixing bowls, because this clean recipe will definitely be a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup all neutral peanut butter
3 tbsp agave nectar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 scoop Dymatize Elite Fusion 7 Protein Powder (chocolate peanut butter flavor)
1 1/2 cups puffed brown rice cereal

Directions:

1. Line baking sheet with parchment or wax paper and set aside.

2. In a medium saucepan melt coconut oil on low heat. Add peanut butter and agave nectar and whisk together until all ingredients have melted and are combined. Add cocoa powder, whisk just enough to incorporate it with other ingredients and remove from heat.

3. Add protein powder and whisk again until the mixture is smooth.

4. Add puffed brown rice and mix gently with a spatula until well combined.
(The mixture should be scoop-able with a spoon and ingredients should stick together in order to form cookies.)
**Proceed to next step immediately.

5. Place full tablespoons of mixture in a shape of round/oval cookies leaving some space in between on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper.

6. Refrigerate for an hour or freeze for at least 30 minutes for cookies to set.

Place in a air tight container and enjoy for 10-14 days!
