Happy 4th of July!!

Looking for a last minute, healthy treat for your 4th of July festivities?  Try these amazing Patriotic Pops I came across online while doing my own 4th of July party planning!


  • 1 cup coconut or unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 scoop Optimum Nutriton Gold Standard Whey protein powder in Frech Vanilla Creme
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries or raspberries
  • 1 lemon

In one dish, blend together milk and protein powder.  In a separate dish, blend together blueberries with a little bit of water and lemon.  Do the same with the strawberries or raspberries separately. In popsicle mold, add the red berry blend.  Let set about 1-2 hours then add milk and protein powder layer.  Let set until still soft enough that you can add the stick, but firm enough to be able to support the blueberry layer – about 1 and a half hours.  Add popsicle stick and blueberry layer, then freeze until firm and ENJOY!
