Status Fitness Magazine – Cover Contest!

To think it’s already been four months since the Status Fitness Magazine Cover Model Contest Special Olympia Edition debuted seems crazy.  It feels like only yesterday that I was on a plane to San Francisco, high in the air without Internet access, wondering how I fared in the contest.  The competition was stiff, as I was competing with some of the most beautiful and inspiring women in the industry for the coveted first place spot.  Unfortunately, I didn’t snag the cover, but I did finish in the top 10 out of over 500 contestants, and vowed to myself that I would work harder for a higher ranking in the 2011-2012 finals.

As December 2011 came to an end, top placing models from the Status Fitness Magazine monthly contests were chosen for the finals and the official countdown, and voting process, began.  So, what exactly determines what the judges are looking for when picking the winner?  It’s easy really.  Half of each models final score comes from total “likes” on the models image posted on the Status Fitness Magazine page (find my image at: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150494052558883&set=a.10150494046818883.376123.6023868882&type=3&theater and please “like” it AFTER you have “liked” the Status Fitness Magazine page), as well as total “shares” of the image.  The second half of the overall placing is determined from ten industry-leading fitness photographers, who judge and score each models marketability.

With 11 days remaining in this years contest (the contest ends at 9pm PST on February 17, 2012) the final push is on from each model for more “likes” and “shares.”. For those of you who haven’t “liked” the Status Fitness Magazine Facebook page and “liked” my image, I hope I can win your vote now.  Every “like” will help me achieve my goal of earning the much desired cover of this amazing magazine that continuously pushes me towards my fitness goals!
