Motivation – the Key to Success

Often times we need that little push to get us back on track when it comes to the gym.  For many it’s developing a new, exciting workout routine, registering for a race or competition, planning a beach vacation, buying new workout gear, picking up the latest issue of your favorite fitness magazines, or simply turning to someone who motivates and inspires you to be your best.  For me, it’s a combination of all those things.  Each month I pick up my favorite fitness magazine for fresh ideas on how to push through my current workout level, finding inspiration in the images of my favorite fitness icons.  I look for routines that will push my limits, events to work towards, camps to attend, and let’s face it….some super cute, functional new gear I can pick up.  Then it’s time to load up my iPod and hit the gym.
