Interval Training

When I see the word “intervals” pop up on my workout calendar two things come to mind – please no (!) and fat burning at it’s finest!  I’d like to think of myself as a cardiovascular cyborg, but when it comes to intervals I’m the first to admit they kick my butt!  It wasn’t until recently that I witnessed the true affects interval training has to offer.  Thanks to my trainer and nutritionist, Nathan Harewood, I learned the proper way to do intervals in order to achieve optimal results.  Alternating between distance runs and interval training in my cardio routine, I saw the fat literally melt off.  Yes, intervals are intense, but I think they are the best way to burn fat and get that sexy, bikini body we’re all working so hard for.
