Post-Comp / NPC Competition – The Branch Warren Classic

It’s Sunday morning and I just finished my first NPC competition – The Branch Warren Classic.  Wow, how time seems to fly by!  Yesterday was a super long day and I’m still feeling the need for a day of recovery.

The day started at 5am, with hair and makeup, followed by my check in at 8am.  Since the show has grown tremendously over the past few years, by the time my class went on (bikini class C) it was close to 12:30pm.  To say I was nervous would be an understatement, but I found great comfort in the girls I was surrounded by who were also getting ready to hit the stage for the first time.  Number 203 was announced and off I went.

Unfortunately I didn’t place this time around (was I not tan enough?), but I’m not letting it discourage me from getting back out there and competing again.  As Vince Lombardi once said, “Winners Never Quit, and Quitters Never Win.”
